OKC Thunder looking to strike on the Golden State Warriors

Date Posted: 04 February 2013     0 Comments

Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Bay Area on Friday to take on the Golden State Warriors.

This matchup will surely be a good one as the Thunder will look to take a firm hold of the top spot in the West, while the Warriors try to pull away from the middle of the pack.

Though the young Thunder team relies heavily on their two All-Stars, they also have in their fold Kevin Martin, Thabo Sefalosha and Serge Ibaka who without a doubt are instrumental in their bid to reclaim the Western Conference Championship.

Golden State, who currently holds the fifth spot in the West, meanwhile has Jarrett Jack, Klay Thompson and David Lee contributing to the Warriors cause.

Can the Durant-Westbrook duo continue their court exploits? Or will the Warriors rise with the returning Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut?

NBA Premium brings you this battle between two Western Conference squads live on Thursday, February 7 at 9AM, with a replay at 7 PM.
