George, Pacers visit Brooklyn to face NetsDate Posted: 08 February 2013 0 Comments
Two Eastern Conference titans will be colliding in what is expected to be a tightly-contested battle on Tuesday as the red-hot Indiana Pacers go up against the surging Brooklyn Nets.
The Pacers will try to add the Nets to the list of Eastern Conference juggernauts that they have already defeated – a list that includes the Miami Heat, the New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls. With Paul George playing at an All-Star level alongside David West, Pacers fans once again have a reason to believe that their team can make a serious run at the NBA title.
For the Nets, they are looking to defeat the Indiana Pacers for the second consecutive time and duplicate their 97-86 conquest of the Frank Vogel-coached squad. To be able to win this match, Brooklyn will once again rely on the services of their star backcourt duo of Joe Johnson and Deron Williams, who combined for a total of 44 points in the teams’ first meeting.
With the stakes so high, and positioning at the Eastern Conference so critical, fans can expect a hard-hitting, high-paced, action-packed basketball showdown.
Though the playoffs may seem far away, this regular season game could be an indication of what NBA hoop junkies can look forward to come playoff time in April. Watch the game live on NBA Premium on Tuesday, February 12 at 8am!
